Micah is Editor-in-Chief of HR Lab, an affiliate of Vantive Media—itself a technology media company for HR, business, and IT leaders seeking to advance their organizations and careers by advancing their business technology strategy, performance and results.

Prior to Vantive, Micah served for 15+ years in a variety of middle to senior management roles and was tasked with addressing organizational issues as strategic and complex as workforce planning down to the granularity of employee performance. This "trench-work" (most recently, as a senior-level HR administrator for a mid-sized university) has seen Micah run initiatives for recruitment, organizational development; performance management; training; and talent management—all while keeping technology at the forefront.

Micah is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Capital Institute (HCI), and also holds the distinction of being a Development Dimensions International (DDI) Certified Facilitator. Micah's educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Psychology & Management as well as a Master's of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Micah has presented at numerous conferences nationwide on topics ranging from system configuration to human capital analytics and has cultivated deep relationships into several key industry verticals including retail, financial services, government, technology, non-profits, healthcare, hospitality, education, and manufacturing, in order to gain penetrating insight into the unique needs each of these markets possess.
